Week 8 Progress

Looking Back: I am very happy with my progress so far. I am most proud of my progress with my writing, I feel like I have expanded my repertoire when it comes to telling stories. I feel like I have a good weekly routine I try and balance a lot of my major coursework with this class. My favorite assignments are definitely the readings I get to learn a lot about different cultures. Looking Forward: A change I would like to make for the second half of the semester is trying to do my work earlier in the week so that my Sunday is free. One pitfall I want to avoid is having to hustle with extra credit in order to make back points this semester. One change I might make to my website is transitioning to a storybook instead of a portfolio. Image: The Marathon Continues (Source: Hot97 )

Week 8 Comments and Feedback

Week 8 Comments and Feedback   1. Feedback in .  The quality of feedback I have received so far this semester has been great. I find the feedback that is constructive and telling me what I have done a good job of very helpful 2. Feedback out .  The quality of feedback I have left for other students I would say has been great as well. I really enjoy helping my classmates in any way I can. I feel because I have experience from the other course I am able to give really good feedback. I have also learned a lot from looking at my classmate's writings.   3. Blog comments .  I would say I have learned a lot about my classmates in a very short time. I have learned their interests, how they like to write, and even connected with classmates over similar hobbies. I am very happy with my introduction post because it allows my peers to get a sense of who I am. 4. Looking forward .   I wouldn't make any changes to my comment wall or introduction. However, I'm...

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Reflection on Reading & Writing Looking Back: I am fairly happy with my progress so far in relation to the reading and the writing. The readings are quite different from the one that we read in Indian Epics but I feel that telling stories works the same. I am happy with my blog but I think my project needs a little work and it is definitely time for a new story. One of my favorite readings so far was about Odysseus and his travels and that is the reason for the image I picked below.   Giant Cave   (Source: Pixabay ) This is my favorite image because it is apart of the first story I wrote for my portfolio/storybook.          Looking Forward: One thing from last semester as well as this semester is to branch out with my writing by trying to add more dialogue or even a different style to my work.
