Week 8 Progress

 Looking Back:

I am very happy with my progress so far. I am most proud of my progress with my writing, I feel like I have expanded my repertoire when it comes to telling stories. I feel like I have a good weekly routine I try and balance a lot of my major coursework with this class. My favorite assignments are definitely the readings I get to learn a lot about different cultures.


Looking Forward:

A change I would like to make for the second half of the semester is trying to do my work earlier in the week so that my Sunday is free. One pitfall I want to avoid is having to hustle with extra credit in order to make back points this semester. One change I might make to my website is transitioning to a storybook instead of a portfolio.

  Hello, My name is Wesley Williams and I am a biology pre-dentistry major. The coolest thing about my major is that I only had to take Calculus and not go any further in math. One of the best classes I took last semester was Indian Epics. I enjoyed taking Epics it was the most fun class had during a hectic schedule last semester. Being able to create and control my schedule as well as the structure of the class, in general, made it very enjoyable. Week 2 Story: Susanoo Retold

Susanoo Retold      The story begins with Suso who on the way to hunt found a chopstick flowing down the river. Obviously curious Suso figured there must be people at the river bank and decided he wanted to see what kind of people they were. In a world where there are gods, humans, fairies, and other mythological creatures he found it important to find out what kind of people they are because he has not seen humans in this area before. While walking up the river he stumbles upon 3 people a bearded old man his wife and the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Inquiring as to what kind of people they were and they introduced themselves as humans and descendants of fairies. He noticed that they seemed troubled and asked what was wrong. They began to delve into the story of they got there and that they are actually mourning the deaths of their 8 daughters.
