Week 8 Progress

 Looking Back:

I am very happy with my progress so far. I am most proud of my progress with my writing, I feel like I have expanded my repertoire when it comes to telling stories. I feel like I have a good weekly routine I try and balance a lot of my major coursework with this class. My favorite assignments are definitely the readings I get to learn a lot about different cultures.


Looking Forward:

A change I would like to make for the second half of the semester is trying to do my work earlier in the week so that my Sunday is free. One pitfall I want to avoid is having to hustle with extra credit in order to make back points this semester. One change I might make to my website is transitioning to a storybook instead of a portfolio.

  Hello, My name is Wesley Williams and I am a biology pre-dentistry major. The coolest thing about my major is that I only had to take Calculus and not go any further in math. One of the best classes I took last semester was Indian Epics. I enjoyed taking Epics it was the most fun class had during a hectic schedule last semester. Being able to create and control my schedule as well as the structure of the class, in general, made it very enjoyable. Week 3 Story: The Land of the Giants

 The Land of the Giants      The story begins with a proud warrior by the name of Octavio and his crew on a journey. Octavio had heard of a foreign place by the name of The Land of the Giants. He and his crew took 4 days to arrive there by ship. The only knowledge Octavio had of the Giants was that they were known to be aggressive and that they did not believe in labor. He also knew that they spent the majority of their time in caves and they have no general regard for their neighbors. The lifestyle of a giant did not require them to have transportation. Octavio noticed when he arrived how fertile the land they were on was and that a place like this would yield great harvests. The arrival at the land of the giants took many days and it was already pitch black, so Octavio and the crew decided to sleep where they landed.
